PHYSICAL THERAPY
Dr. Svetlana Kotlin is a doctor in physical therapy with extensive experience in sports medicine, fitness, and kinesiology. The effectiveness of her treatments can be attributed to her ability to form accurate diagnosis and prognosis. She emphasizes hands-on treatments integrated with individualized muscular retraining exercises to address muscle imbalance, weakness, and injury. Svetlana has pioneered her own techniques utilizing multiple modalities appropriate to the unique stages of your rehabilitation. She recognizes that solutions are unique to individual needs.
Why Direct Access
Direct access offers patients the ability to go to physical therapy without a prescription from their primary care physician. You may be concerned that bypassing your physician is unwise for your health, but that is not true. Dr. Svetlana and many other PT's are all doctorate-level medical professionals whose training and education makes them more than qualified to not only conduct initial evaluations, but also to recognize when a patient’s medical needs fall outside of their practice scope. The purpose of direct access is to expedite the process and allow early intervention to an injury.
Out of Pocket
Out of Pocket treatment gives the patient and thier treatment plan more independence and more time devoted to early intervention. It can also be cost effective by avoiding unnecessary x-rays and and MRI's. PT's will stay in communication with your primary care physician to make sure you are getting the appropriate care you need. Dr. Sevetlana is very willing to help patients achieve their goals physically and financially.
